The SRS works like your ECU does. It has it's own central unit that has a report flashing mechanism just like the CEL. You must have faulted your SRS system somehow. I believe the HELMS has a walk-through on defining the problem.

The CEL shouldn't really be showing you codes yet if you can't even start the motor. :thinking: I don't think...

I don't think it runs through the diagnostic until the car is actually started so it can check the sensors. What's it doing that it won't start?
