the thing with carbon fiber and fiberglass that weve talked about OVER and OVER again is it's not a solid in the typical sense, its maleable and its shape changes over time. it also breaks down fairly easy. theres a reason cars arent made with it, and it isnt because its expensive, if many cars used it it would become very cheap, as the materials are much more abundant than steel/aluminum. anything you do to your car is going to be high maintenance, and carbon fiber or fiberglass is especially no exception. on the flip side it will be far stronger and hold its shape better than fiberglass, fiberglass is something you dont really want to get involved with if at all possible, especially somewhere that is open to the elements.
