Make the first coat of paint a light mist, nozzle about 24 inches from the surface you're spraying. This helps the paint stick better. Also if the humidity is high, like its raining outside, this helps keep the dust down. Also you might want another coat of color paint to cover the car. It might still be letting some of the primer color through.
