However the problems I've read about are particularly with the 1998s - 2000s. Does this same issue apply to the 2001 models? If so, do you think it is worth it to buy a v6, despite these problems? If I do purchase a v6, should I make sure the transmission has been replaced? Have the problems disappeared with the replaced transmissions? Alternatively, do y'all think it is just safer to go with the i4 to avoid these problems?
I'd appreciate any suggestions/advice. Thanks!
I have a Inline 4 2002 EX Coupe and one of my buddies has a V-6 EX Coupe... he has manual and i have a auto. I havent felt anything wrong with my tranny and he hasnt had any problems that i know of...but just remeber if your gonna be moding your car, in most cases the warranty will be void after you do so...just keep that in mind.

Also if your gonna be doing the racing, my Inline 4 can smoke alot of the V-6s that i race against. Its up to you though....
