Plus you will have no problem selling it either. because there are a ton of people looking for beginner bikes.
Yeah I've been looking for a Suzuki 250 but can't find anything thats pretty new. I want it to look good and the older ones just don't cut it for me. Thanks for the advice. I'll keep looking. Buying a small older one sounds like a good starting point.

here's a quick turning tip. gently push the right handle bar down and away from u to turn right and vice versa for the left. it leans in the bike really smooth. then just throttle thru
Well, I wouldn't have it under my current insurance only because thats under the rents. And the second I tell them I'm buying a bike they'll throw a code let alone let me have it under their policy. :exnbp:

I wouldn't go anything higher than a 600, and even that is pushing it IMO for someone who has never ridden before. But if you must, sit on a few and find what is comfortable for you. I wouldn't be trying to go fast or hit any backroads for a long time...and don't go cheap on gear. Get a good jacket, and a good helmet..ie Shoei/Arai.
Yeah, I heard most typical health insurance policy's won't even cover motorcycles. So most people get the personal health insurance under their motorcycle policy to cover that.
