I don't know exactly when the I/C will be certified. But given GReddy's track record of CARB-certified kits, I have no doubt that the I/C will be certified.

I have read in print (Honda Tuning) and confirmed with GReddy by phone (last spring) that the Type 23 I/C was submitted to CARB for certification in early 2004.

I recommend giving GReddy a call to get an update on that process.

The certification process with CARB seems to be really vague and is probably rooted more in bureaucracy than in actual science. h:
