If the car was even half way taken care of, you'll get 175,000 miles out of the engine (total life). I really can't speak first hand as to how trouble free a Prelude is..... mine's only 2 1/2 years old with 65,000 miles and haven't seen the dealer except for tires and change coolant and gearbox fluid. I know people who've had all sorts of fluid leaks and bad head gaskets by that mileage ON DOMESTICS (had to clearify that), and I still have a clean engine block!
