If done correctly, the shifts ARE much quicker. But this is not a race car and not very well designed for this type of use. Even motorcycles which ARE designed for that purpose... will still wear out much faster without using a clutch. I wore out he tranny on my last motorcyle doing this repeatedly at he racetrack at 30,000 miles... which is equivalent to around 90000 miles in a car.
