samsung now authorizes you to return your LCD monitor for replacement, if there's even 1 dead pixel. i'm sure others will follow suit, if they haven't already.
as for the PSP, there should be 0 dead pixels for the screen that size, no question. sony is known to sell shoddy equipment anyway. every single playstation variation they've released has had one problem or another. and did they fix these problems for the owner? no. they had no choice but to buy a replacement console, or figure out how to fix the problems themselves. that was the case with PS1, PS2, and soon, i'm sure, the PSP.
