Like I said, your going to spend the money and it is a lot cheaper to build a SOHC VTEC considering the price to buy a DOHC engine if you do not have one. I just bought the DOHC because it looks cooler. Knowing what I know now i would have just built my D16Z6. I am still banging around that idea still. I have a whole D16Z6 longblock in the garage.
