Just like you this makes no sense to me.
Out of all the 5spd cars I've had. I always used the clutch.
All I can picture right now is hearing that grinding noise when you accidently dont get it into the gear all the way ( because of shifting to quick )
Im sure that noise is louder when you dont use the clutch.
