Clutchless shifting works better when you have a low inertia flywheel and/or a sequential gearbox such as on a motorcycle.

I wouldn't do it in a car if you want any likd of life out of the tranny.


Even on a motorcycle which has a sequential gearbox whci his better able ot handle that type of shifting, it will still cause significantly increased wear on the shift forks.
