The biggest problem is that people think if they lower the engagement point their car will be faster. That could not be farther from the truth. The vtec in point is set to optimize cam lobe timing. For instance if you lower your si from 5500 to say 4500 you will actually lose power between 45-5500 because the vtec cam lobe is not designed to work at the lower rpm. Leave it where it is unless you get a set of cams designed for it.
