Think Scion xA and xB. Some people just realized that they have no use for a 15mpg v8 4.7 when all they need is to drive 10 minutes for some oranges.
The Scion xB has been a pretty good seller because not only is it relatively fuel efficient, it also had an amazing amount of interior space for such a small vehicle. Pity the car is still a bit underpowered, though.
Anyway, I still think the Maitz might not sell well against the upcoming Honda Fit derivative that's due in the USA about this time next year.
