i took my trannie cover off and used a solid pry bar on the flywheel. had someone hold it in place to not damage it and used my breaker bar with my jack handle as a extension and with some work, i got it off. i just wanted to take my time and be careful. this is the biggest pain in the butt compared to the shift linkage pin. just my .02
