Anyone every experienced noise after a timing belt job from using a non oem belt with round teeth versus square ones that are cut for the honda belts? I have been told that it will go away after a few 1000's miles and is common but i want to check.

The symtom is a higher pitched whine coming off the engine at idle sounds sorta like a go cart a little... but the car runs perfectly the rest of the time.... perfectly no power loss etc...

What do you guys think?
