lol, I don't think it's related. My new tranny has shown no signs of wear, it's awesome. When my tranny was on its last day and would refuse to shit at anything more than light throttle I just wailed on the car to **** up the tranny...after about 5 mins of this it wouldnt even shift unless I did it manually (and then it did it really slowly). 2nd gear was not gonna happen in either case/ When I got out and looked underneath the car it smelled sooo bad, lol.
