I have a 91 accord with a f22 sohc engine with a manual transmission. I bought a JDM 94 honda accord wagon ce1 F22B sohc VTEC engine with an automatic tranny. I want to swap engines only. An engine swap book I have says this is a simple direct bolt up job. All I have to do is use the JDM engine computer. My mechanic says he thought the engine to transmission bolt pattern is different amd the swap may not work. Can anybody help us with some answers.
