this is completly untrue, there are at least 9 main forms of drifting, just like any other type of skill, it has forms. that would be like saying Kempo and Tia Kwan doe (sp) aren't matial arts cause one uses linear strikes with feet and the other uses circular motions with hands.
to tell the truth, that Takumi bullshit is annying, most cars lack the abilaties to "power" out of or into a drift... Power drifting is one of the harder forms.
brake drifting is one of the most common forms taught at a drift school, its a introductory stage for RWD cars, which move on to using RW advantage, but FWD cars perfect the technice, mainly because all it requiers is good control and proper braking, so please realize that dirfting has more than one form
