here's some food for thought..

this is not flaming to any of you.. all your comments just got me pondering about a lot of things.. so here's what's been going through my mind.. none of you guys (that i know of anyway), including me, are drifters.. so who are you to say what is or is not drifting? It's puzzling to me.. you say that civic in the vid isn't drifting because he's pulling the e-brake.. i'm not sure if any of you knows this, but professional drifters use e-brake as an essential drifting technique.. some even modify the e-brake to make it easier to pull..

now, the fwd discussion.. once again, all the people i hear that say fwd's can't drift are those that are not drifters and probably couldn't even drift if their life depended on it.. that vid of the civic was shot during competition and the commentators and others are calling it drifting.. they're describing the technique to drift the fwd car properly and effectively... so who's right? the drift community or the guy that uses his car only to drive to work/school and back?

in my point of view, it's like some car fanatic that enters his car in all shows with his $50k sound system, etc. calls himself a car guru and says F1 isn't real racing because they use sequential shifters instead of a stick and clutch.

so what is everyone else's point of view and why?
