My grandma died of lung cancer...well sorta she had lead in her lungs from workin at her own body shop. She also smoked. My dad also was diagnosed about 3 years ago with prostate cancer. Luckely he was able to get radiation treatments and it was stopped. Last year in an x-ray it was shown to be spreading to his hip, so he started the treatment again, it looks like he's gonna win it hopefully. I hope it doesnt come back a third time.
So yea basically i know how you feel, it sucks, and it hurts. Just stay in there and try and be strong. :happysad:
They said my dad's came from the body shop he and my mom owned before i was born. Weird. But he also smoked 4 packs of cigarettes a day..till he had a heartattack..then he cut back to 2 packs a day
They told him that the spots in his lungs were shrinking...so i was like, oh hell yes, he's going to make it! this shit isnt going to kill MY dad. And the next thing i know, he's on an O2 tank and bedbound.
