u know TAS has some nice brake upgrades better than stock and a good price u can get the front complete set from $149 to $400..and change. and i know the shop around me would charge $100 to change everything n front. how often u use the brakes n the back? get some blanks and new bads and u set, i would say less than $100 for back brake kit. u can get the steel brake lines for $100something from tas. i think you could have gotten a better brake system with less money. i hope the shop who did the job use genuine honda stuff for that price. if u dont have the tools the shop does then u really can't say, because it took u so long is worth the price. when my mechanic did my brakes he took less than 2hrs to do it all. other shops were trying to rip me off ex: $100 just to change the rear brake pads. thats a 60seconds job.
the thing is, the rotors in the front and back where past their machining limit... so i had to get new ones, the pads where also new. much new hardware was added, brake system flush. I don't know about you but i have and ABS system and where the fuel filter is located is a REALLY tough spot cause it's got some brake lines running right over it plus it has no access from the bottem. i can post a pic if you would like me to. and if you think it takes 60 seconds to change the rear pads i'm sorry but you shouldn't even be in this forum. when you take off the rear calipers you must push the piston back to be able to put the thicker new pad in right?? to do that you must compelely take out the piston flush and clean out all the insides etc.... please don't tell me about stuff i already know of. i'm not stupid when it comes to suspension and braking. i think it's you who needs to go do the research here
btw, no they didn't use genuine honda oem stuff, they used aftermarket stuff that is better with a lifetime warranty
