I seriously do not see why not.
Post 97 (pretty sure) Honda discontinued cotter pins on them, so de-threading and falling out would be the only cause for failure that I can see...but what are the chances of that?

If I hadn't changed them just last year I'd give it a shot. But the gains would be pretty minimal, and maybe not even justifiable.
