Ok so the engine is out of warranty and has over 100K. A Honda is supposed to be a quality engine and this should not happen!

Is this knock only on the vtec 5th gen? I have to change the timing belt on a buddies non-vtec 97LX and help him intall the cam seal TSB kit some time coming up, I could see if he has the noise. But I don't think he does.
