Seriously though...sleep on it.
Researching what others have done and their results will shed some light on what would really be involved and if it's worth it to you.
If you really want to "blow away pretty much any car on the street"...start with a different car.
If you want to make your Accord faster and give you another 10 years or so out of it, spend $5-10K and realize that it's never going to blow pretty much anything away.
