Well, I took the actuator off of the lock assembly and hooked it up outside of the door and started clicking my unlock button to see if it would work and it didn't. I opened up the actuator and it was all gunked up. I cleaned all the parts really well, put em back in place (be careful not to lose the spring when you do this!) and then put some engine oil on the little gears and closed it back up and hooked everything back up. It's a pretty tight squeeze back there but nothing crazy. Before I messed with the actuator that door never unlocked, now it will lock 100% of the time, and unlock about 75% of the time. I'm cool with that. Saved myself $30!
It looks like the "lock assembly" (the part that actually has all the rods connecting to it, pops the lock tab up and down, and contains the latch for the door) seems to jam when it's unlocking. It's like freaking $80 to replace though. I'm content with how that door works now. Anyway, hope this helps someone.
