Heli skiing is a lot of fun but if you have to pay for it then it gets expensive fast. Me and three others had 4 days paid for by a sponsor

Hiking isn't that bad really and the turns are totally worth it. we used to hike up a mountain for 6 hours or so, setup camp, eat and hang out then in the morning get up hike a little further and head down. Of course we took all the precautions such as avalanche beacons, shock cord, shovels, and we did all the snow testing etc so we could minimize risk somewhat.

The runs from the hikes and from heli skiing would be about an hour non stop to the bottom and all untouched powder....words can't even describe the feeling on the way down.
