I have put in many days in back country hiking for turns in remote locations, I have also gone heli boarding in uncontrolled environments and if that isn't taking your risks then I don't know what is.
Now I really envy you

I always wanted to do heli ski. But as far as hiking up a mountain to go back down it, not for me
