Any Prelude made from 1988 and up is a really nice car. I forget which years, but the early 1990's models offered 4 wheel steering (rare - doubt yours has it).
Here's how you can tell model years appart:
If your Prelude has flip up headlights, it's pre-1992. If they are fixed, it's from 92 on up.
1992-96 Models have a blue instrument cluster with the tach and speed in the shape of half moons. The '97-01 models (my body style

) have soft orange instruments and full size tach and speedo.
In 1993, the first VTEC motor appeared in a Prelude. The 93-96 VTEC models are probably the most sought after Preludes at this time, because they were a higher priced model, and not all Preludes had it untill 1997. So, there were 3 levels for 1993-96 - base, Si, and VTEC.
The 97-01 body style is probably the most luxurious Prelude ever made. The seat fabric, interior trim, and solid and quiet body structure could make some think it belonged in Acura's lineup, not Honda's (believe me, it's the best car with an H on the hood in these years).
Preludes, as with all Hondas, come from the factory as one trim level or another (base, Si, VTEC), and any options were dealer installed accessories. In any year, they pretty much were equiped with the usual features standard (cruise, tilt, pwr. windows, locks, mirrors, A/C). All Si and VTEC models have a moonroof.
Anything specific you would like to know, please ask. I've done all the work on my Prelude myself, including the belt change, so I've got some decent knowlege about the car.
