1) 79-01; 1st Gen = 79-81, 2nd Gen = 82-87, 3rd Gen = 88-91, 4th Gen = 92-96, 5th Gen = 97-01 (These are the U.S. years)

4) Depends on the generation. 3rd Gen (which is far enough back to help I hope) has 3 different engines, which I believe are all B series; 4th Gen has F22 (S), H23 (Si), and H22 (VTEC); all 5th Gens come with H22.
