Follow manufacturer reccomendations for the parts.

A tune-up is just filters, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, PCV valve. It doesn't require an oil change, but many people do get that done as well.

The noise you're hearing is probably an exhaust leak. Put your hand over the muffler tip (after a cold start) and see if it gets any quieter. The car should stall out if the exhaust pipe is all sealed up. If it keeps running and won't build up pressure when you cover up the tip, then you have an exhaust leak.

Jafro,
Thanks a lot!
Should I get OEM spark plug, spark plug wire, distributor cap/rotor, and PCV valve? What after market parts do you recommend for spark plug, spark plug wire, distributor cap/rotor? And thanks for the tip on how to check for exhaust leak!
