Honda's trans are really like no other transmission out there. No ATF pan, essentially no valve body (as all the shift solenoids are external), and unless I'm corrected by HondaTech, no position sensor either. Only model that has a position sensor, is the one vehicle that's not really a Honda at all: the Passport (Isuzu Rodeo). But I agree all of that has to be checked when the work is completed.
