The key got stuck because they didn't properly align the shifter after reinstalling the new tranny. The key won't come out until your car fully is in park. If the shifter cable is off a hair it was cause the key to get stuck. If this happens again push the shifter as far forward as you can then turn key and pull out. I would take it back to them and request that someone with half a brain fix the problem.
This is what i was talking about people not giving a crap about anything in recent threads. I realize people are not perfect but,90% of it is just not giving a shit.
There is no "Adjustment" you can make to the shifter cable at the transmission. You'd have to see one to understand what I'm saying, but there is no way to install the shifter cable incorrectly. It will only fit in ONE way.
