last i recall US government has no say in how many a certain vehicle can be produced in foreign country.
i MEANT to say they were capped at 3000...like i said it was a typo on my part...and last year the government capped toyota at producing no more than 3000 cars for american sale. and the government has a say in anything and everything thats being produced. and considering most japanese cars have manufacturing plants here in the states it is under our rules and regs not japanese rules and regs..about 85% of the toyotas sold in america are made in america with american labor and most of them made with parts produced in america....like i said this is what i learned about the prius and other hybrid cars like it when i started working for TOYOTA so this isnt hear-say this isnt some bogus news report and this isnt propaganda...next your going to tell me that i dont know anything about the military when i was in the army for 3 yrs
