This is IMO the best advantage of the newer ABS systems which also effeciently distribute the braking force to each wheel. SO instead of just simply modulating the wheel that has locked up, the computer also sends more pressure to the other wheels which still have traction. This greatly enhances stability and reduces stopping distanes on uneven, bumpy pavement and while cornering.
EFD amounts to a automatic computer controlled porportioning valve. Ironically this simple system orignially developed in Formula 1 racing, is now illegal with the newer rules. A driver in F1 must manually adjust teh front and rear brake balance.
