If you can, find a DC-DC power supply, and avoid inverters. Converting DC to AC and then back to DC is about 70% efficient each time. A DC to DC (regulated) conversion can be 90% efficient. Inverters also create noise, bad idea. If you need to, you can take an ATX DC-DC power supply and hack the wires to match your Cube's wiring configuration.
