Heh..sounds like the neighborhood that surrounds my apartment. My building actually looks like garbage outside so I keep my shades closed and covered because I don't want people seeing inside.
Picture abandoned shopping carts, some turned on the side and conveniently placed at bus stops for people to sit on, empty OE bottles at the bottom of stairwells, chrome wheels on any car you can think of, cash advance stores on every corner, and a 7-11 with a built in police precinct (sp).
