I recently chartered a Cultural and community service based sorority and we give A LOT back to the community, have a lot of fun, and have a lot of pride in what we do. I'll admit that some frats and sororities ARE big wastes of time and money. But its the persons choice. So how about we not rip poeple for something that he/she wants to do for himself. Cuz you are offending me too.

It's funny because in college I started a very successful club which focused on doing volunteer work. Very successful = 500+ actively participating members out of over 2000.
So my opinion of frats stays the same. You can do and achieve much more out side of the greek mentality.
