Yesterday as I was turning onto the highway, I decided to see where the rev limiter was on my 97 Accord V6. The redline is 6,250 rpm on the tac, but I swung it to 7,000 rpm and there was nothing holding it back. I decided to shut it down there and not press my luck. Does the 5th gen Accord V6 not have a rev limiter and how high can the 2.7 24 valve V6 safely rev?
