You're absolutely wrong. The only "special" adjustment to the whole process is ordering the right 79.5mm shim. The factory service manual comes with a table that tells you which shim you need to order to get the torque to come in. If anyone wants I could even scan the page and email it to anyone interested.
Its a breeze.
