8800 rpm..
Ok, so today I was driving my '94 GSR and I accelerated "rather briskly" next to my buddy with a '99 GSR. So I hold my revs at about 4 grand, dump the clutch, and before I know it, I'm at 8800 rpm in 1st at which point I seemed to have some difficulty getting it into 2nd. So my question is this: Is 8800 rpm conidered outrageous? I bought the car with a Skunk2 ECU set up for ITR cams, but for certain reasons I had to put in b16 cams for now. Anyway, I'm not sure what all the computer does...Do I have a rev limiter in place or what? I think the guy said it could rev safely to 9000 but I'm not completely sure. So anybody have any ideas about the revs or the computer? Thanks.
Oh yeah...The car seems to be running fine right now. I had to drive for almost 2 hours after that happened, and I don't notice anything strange.
