Not really gonna say one is beter than the other but the body is a big deal for me because of durability issues and what conditions I shoot under. Lots of dust, rocks, heat, rain, cold, etc. There is a lot of variance in conditions so I need as much protection as I can get.

The DRebel is a great camera but I just needed to have something that is prepared out of the box and has the features I need without the hack.
