yeah, i'm insured. they paid off everything i owed on it (it was financed); and as for my "friend" who is suspected of stealing it:

I'm at another friends house, and he shows up. He acts more friendly than usual. However, we both leave at the same time, and all of a sudden, he has a bunch of modifications done to his bike. He also can't maintain any kind of eye contact with me while I'm out there takling to him.

He used to call me almost every week just to hang out. No calls since this has happened.

When I called him the night my bike was stolen, he didn't sound surprised at all. He told a bunch of other people in the background (we were on the phone) that my bike was stolen. You could hear laughter, but maybe it's because they were all out drinking (or so he says). The night it was stolen, we were at my friends house, and he left early to go drink with some of his other friends. When I finally left my friend's house, it was gone.

Too add insult to injury, I taught this guy how to ride, and I introduced him to my other biker buddies. Furthermore, he had never been to, or heard of twisties before, and I took him there for the first times.
