First....it's NOT dangerous to change your tranny fluid. That's like saying it's dangerous to change engine oil, c'mon! It helps your tranny, it's the most overlooked fluid in a car that's very important and people wonder why their tranny's go bad.

Second...I don't wholeheartedly believe that all honda trannys have the same ATF capacity. Check with the dealer when you purchase it(which is the ONLY place you shoudl be purchasing it anyway). I was told 3 quarts for my 00' AV6. I'm due for it again this year.
