first of all, haynes manuals have errors. off the top of my head, it mis-codes the D16y8 and is wrong for the hp...i think it states the y7 is in the EX. 2nd, its SRS schematics and locations of parts is off. they are merely reference, not the law.
2nd, the d series are ALL basically the same, just minute intake/fuel/cam changes and tuning (for ease of stating a point) the d16y8 (only in the EX) is 127 hp SOHC Vtec
