I have a 99 gsr & I have only raced one 97-01 lude & it was a 2k 5speed base, It was DEAD & I mean DEAD even till about 6k in 3rd where I started to pull ever so slightly & ended up beating it by about 2 bumpers, He had i/h/e & Act stage1 clutch & I had AEM CAI, If I had the choice between the 2, Id get the gsr due to the fact that I think it looks better & Its cheaper & It dosnt weigh as much, Just my $0.02
