The LS-VTEC motor will produce more power than a GSR, it is just not as reliable unless it is built. If you don't build it, you will soon find out that it is still an LS Block when it blows. People who build the LS-VTEC w/just the stock block and head run into problems down the way. The cause for this is not being able to get over how quick your 93 hatch is and how hard it pulls. At which point it blows. When it is built it will longer satisfy your desire to abuse it. I have dyno results for an LS-VTEC N/A and forced if anyone wants to know what the results are.
