The clutch dick and pressure plate are larger for the Si (1.6L engine) Now I was going to get a lightweight flywheel now. It says it fits the 1.5/1.6. Then why are the stock flywheels have different part numbers?

This is what it breaks down too. Can I bolt up my 91 Si tranny to my DX engine? If so I think I would have to use a clutch kit and fly wheel for my 89 DX engine.
ah ok i understand now. yea you need to use the clutch kit for your 89 because you are putting it on a DX which has a smaller diameter flywheel. an 89 DX clutch kit WILL fit since the spline count for the 89-91's are all the same. or you can buy an 89-91 SI flywheel and bolt that up to your DX motor and use a 89-91 SI clutch.
