On the clutch disk it says this side flywheel and it was put on correctly, The cable IS on right and has been adjusted many times. My car is an 89 DX, the tranny I "WANTED" to use is a 91 Si. This is what it breaks down too. Can I bolt up my 91 Si tranny to my DX engine? If so I think I would have to use a clutch kit and fly wheel for my 89 DX engine.
ah ok i understand now. yea you need to use the clutch kit for your 89 because you are putting it on a DX which has a smaller diameter flywheel. an 89 DX clutch kit WILL fit since the spline count for the 89-91's are all the same. or you can buy an 89-91 SI flywheel and bolt that up to your DX motor and use a 89-91 SI clutch.
