Thank you for explaining the size differences of DX, LX and EX models.

My `95 is an LX and it has a converter to fit the 6.5" in it.
We had a hell of a time trying to install these.

Now that I know that there is a difference for EX, I can just go to a near-by junkyard and pick one up from one.
Makes it much easier since we were gonna cut the existing metal converter to fit the 6x9 speakers. As of now I have no speakers in the back nor subs hooked up, so I have to live with my 2 OEM fronts.

My friend even tried making a hole to accomodate the spacing on the speakers and we even thought of just placing them in without the covers since the covers can't cover the speakers because of their design.

Anyway, I love my curent set-up, but with these speakers, it should be much nicer. Thanks a lot for your input. See... we can get something helpful out of these message boards.
