i personaly think you should do it all the time.. in fact it is much better on the car if you manualy shift the auto.. think about how much faster you will be than us manual guys.. we have to push in a clutch where you can just wack a stick...i say start in nuetral rev to almost the redline then slam it into D then manualy shift.... and before you run set the tire pressure at like 5psi.. so they hook good... this method should easily get you into the low 12's with a bone stock 94 lx
